My inspiration for this journey is my mother, Christina Marie Wingate, who we lost to a heart attack on October 14, 2011. This walk is a small act of remembrance for all she was to me. She taught me everything about being a strong, loving woman. I carry her in my heart with every step, hoping and praying that I live a life that would make her proud.
