Here we are again! As many of you know, every February our family and SeamonWhiteside come together to support Heart Month.
Over the past three years, we've surpassed every fundraising goal we set, raising more than $36,000 in total. Last year, we raised over $14,000 and were a Top Walker, finishing 4th out of over 1,500 Walkers. It’s incredible to see how many people continue to support for Oliver.
Oliver started Kindergarten this fall and is just a few months away from turning six. He’s really coming into his own, figuring out who he is, what new things he likes, and what challenges he’s ready to face. And none of this would be possible without the medical professionals, research, and medicine that saved his life when he was born. Last summer, we went to Boston and Oliver’s cardiologist thinks he may be a candidate to undergo a full ventricular repair.
I walk for my son, Oliver, and his courageous heart health journey. I walk for the doctors who saved his life. And I walk for all those who have, or will, face Congenital Heart Disease in their lives.
