I'm proud to support the American Heart Association's Heart Walk and help raise awareness around heart health-something that impacts every one of us.
Heart disease remains one of the leading causes of death, and yet so much can be done through prevention, education, and preparedness. Learning CPR, understanding the warning signs, and taking proactive steps toward heart health can truly save lives. These skills and knowledge empower us to protect our families, friends, coworkers, and communities.
This cause is especially meaningful to me as I walk in honor of my granny, who battled heart disease. The day of my birth she was scheduled to have a heart procedure and would not let the doctors take her back until she knew my mother and I were okay. She passed a few months after my birth but ensured she had the chance to hold me. Though I never had the chance to truly know her, stories of her strength, resilience, and love continue to inspire me. Supporting this mission is one small way I can help ensure more families have more time together.
If you're able, I would be incredibly grateful for your support-whether through a donation, sharing this message, or committing to learning more about heart health and CPR. Every action makes a difference.
Thank you for helping me honor my grandmother and support a cause that truly saves lives.
