I Walk Because I’m Alive. I Walk So Others Can Be Too.
In 2014, I had a defibrillator implanted in my chest after being diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy and an enlarged left ventricle. That device doesn’t just protect my heart — it reminds me every single day that I’ve been given a second chance at life.
For the past 10 years, I have walked almost daily as part of my commitment to my health and my future. Every step represents perseverance, gratitude, and faith.
I know firsthand how critical timely intervention is. Cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere. Access to CPR training, research, and lifesaving equipment makes the difference between life and death.
Today, I’m walking to support Broward Health and raise $250 to help train more people in lifesaving CPR and strengthen the resources that save lives.
I am living proof that early action works.
I walk to save lives.
Will you help me reach my goal and give someone else the chance to keep walking too?
