The reason I am walking is in honor of my husband, my son, my niece and a friend's daughter. In 2017 my husband had a mild heart attack He had some stents put in and he is doing great. Praise God.
My son when he was younger, we found out he had Atrial fibrillation in which he had to have three ablations done to correct it was not life-threatening but very scary. He is 27 years old and doing good. My niece was born with hypoplastic left heart Syndrome. She was born February 1, 2014 and she passed February 25, 2014.
My friend's daughter was also born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome in November 2016 She's had many surgeries. She is nine years old , she is a heart warrior.
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this.
Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death.
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
I Walk to Save Lives. Help me reach my goal today.\u200b
