Hi! My name is Brooklyn and I am 4 years old.

Before I was born, my family learned that my heart was special. I have something called congenital heart disease (CHD). That means my heart didn't form the same way as most hearts do. Because of that, I've had to be really brave from the very beginning.

My heart journey has included doctor visits, tests, and a big surgeries to help my heart work better. Even though I'm little, I've already had to fight some big battles. My family calls me their heart warrior because I am strong and I never give up.

Even with my special heart, I love doing all the fun kid things. I love playing with my baby dolls, being silly, and making my family laugh. I may be small, but I have a big personality and an even bigger fighting spirit.

My family is walking to raise money for the Heart and Stroke Walk to help others like me. The money raised helps doctors and researchers learn more about heart disease so others with special hearts can live long, healthy lives.
