On May 9th, I’ll be walking in the American Heart Association Heart Walk to help fight one of the leading causes of death in our country.
Here’s the part that stopped me in my tracks:
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside of a hospital die.
Most of the time, it’s because CPR wasn’t started soon enough.
That means many of these lives could be saved if more people were trained and prepared.
That’s why I decided to participate in this walk.
Every dollar raised goes toward:
• Training more people in lifesaving CPR
• Funding critical heart and stroke research
• Helping communities be ready when seconds matter most
I set a personal goal of $500, and I’m asking for help from friends, family, and colleagues.
If 20 people donate just $25, we hit the goal.
If you’re able to help, even $5 or $10 truly makes a difference.
And if donating isn’t possible right now, simply sharing this post would mean a lot.
❤ Together we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
Thank you for your support.
