My Heart Walk Story

I never imagined that my heart would change my life the way it has.

I’ve survived two heart attacks, including a widowmaker, which is often fatal. I’m here today because of fast medical care, incredible doctors, and a lot of determination. I now live with an ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator) and cardiac stents, which remind me every day just how precious life truly is.

This journey hasn’t been easy — physically, emotionally, or mentally — but it has made me stronger, more grateful, and more committed to helping others. Every step I take in the Heart Walk is a step for survival, awareness, and hope.

I walk for myself, for my family, and for everyone who didn’t get a second chance. I walk to raise awareness about heart disease, encourage early action, and support life-saving research.
