I’m walking in the Heart Walk in honor of my family and the journey we’ve faced together. I lost my mother to congestive heart failure at just 72—far too young—and that loss stays with me every day. My father survived a heart attack and underwent a quadruple bypass, and most recently, my brother endured two heart attacks of his own. Heart disease has touched the people I love most, and it’s a reminder of how important this cause truly is. I walk to honor my mom, to support my dad and brother, and to help create a future where fewer families have to experience this kind of pain. Through awareness, education, and a commitment to healthier living, I hope to be part of making a difference—for my family and for generations to come.
