Why I Walk
In December 2026, my father suffered a stroke that resulted in the loss of his right eye. It was one of the most difficult experiences our family has ever faced. While the road to recovery has not been easy, we are incredibly grateful for the progress he has made and for the care, support, and awareness that helped him on his journey.
His experience reinforced just how important it is to recognize the warning signs of a stroke and seek immediate medical attention. Every minute matters.
Today, I walk to honor my father, celebrate his resilience, and support the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association.
