I'm Walking for a Cause That Hits Close to Home
This year, I'm participating in the 2026 Volusia-Flagler Heart Walk, and I'm asking for your support.
Many people may not know that I suffered a heart attack when I was just 17 years old on the Fourth of July. Then, in March of this year, I experienced a TIA (mini-stroke). Heart disease and stroke have touched my family in many ways. My son was born with a heart condition called SVT, and my Granny also battled heart disease.
Our family's story is just one of millions.
That's why I'm proud to be participating in this year's Heart Walk and representing, along with many others, the IT Team at Daytona State College. Together, we're walking to raise awareness, support lifesaving research, and help improve the lives of those affected by heart disease and stroke.
I'll be out there walking, cane and all, because every step matters.
If you're able, please consider making a donation. Every dollar helps fund research, education, advocacy, and support for families facing heart disease and stroke.
â¤ï¸ Thank you for supporting me, the Daytona State College IT Team, and this important cause.
Extraordinary starts with YOU. Help me reach my goal today!
