9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don't survive. Most of the time, it's because no one nearby performed CPR. But together, we can change that.

We are Operating with Heart, the AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach Surgical Services team. From the OR to Pre-Op, PACU, Sterile Processing, Anesthesia, and beyond, we come together every day with one priority: our patients.

In Surgical Services, we care for people during some of their most vulnerable moments. Patient safety, advocacy, trust, teamwork, and compassion aren't just part of what we do-they're at the heart of how we care. We're also a team that genuinely cares for one another like family, and we believe that same spirit of support should extend into our community.

That's why we're taking our teamwork outside the OR and onto the Heart Walk course!

Heart Walk brings communities together to create health and hope for every heartbeat. Every walker who joins and every dollar donated helps create more lifesaving moments through CPR education, research, and greater awareness of heart health.
