In a heartbeat, everything can change.
My beloved wife, Jana, was only 33 when she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. In those terrifying moments, our family’s quick actions—and my performing CPR—along with the immediate availability of an AED, saved her life. We were given a miracle that day, and it forever changed us.
Since that moment, Jana and I have become passionate advocates for CPR training, heart disease awareness, and making AEDs more accessible in our communities. Because we know firsthand: 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don’t survive—usually because no one nearby knew what to do.
This year, I’m honored to serve as a Team Captain for the Orlando Heart Walk 2026, representing Johnson & Johnson across Central Florida. After being recognized as a Heartsaver Hero in the 2024 Heart Walk, I’m even more determined to make an impact.
I’m inviting friends, coworkers, family, and heart walkers from all walks of life to join us. Every step we take together, every dollar we raise toward our $5,000 goal, brings more CPR training, more research, more AEDs in public spaces, and more second chances like Jana’s.
Extraordinary things happen when we take action. Will you walk with us or support our team today? Together, we can protect every heartbeat.
