I walk for the people I love.
Over the past few years, heart disease has impacted some of the closest people in my life. My dear friend of more than 20 years survived a heart attack, and this year my dad suffered a heart attack that led to open-heart surgery, a quadruple bypass, and a pacemaker.
Seeing firsthand how heart disease changes lives is why this cause means so much to me. I walk to honor their strength, to support families going through similar battles, and to help advance heart health care through research, education, and life-saving treatment.
Every dollar raised helps further the care and advancement of heart health. Thank you for supporting me and the American Heart Association as we walk toward healthier hearts and longer lives.
