I am walking in memory of a truly wonderful woman, JoAnn.

JoAnn was more than a friend to our family, she was Sophia’s godmother, and someone we were incredibly blessed to have in our lives. We lost her suddenly in March, and her absence is deeply felt by everyone who knew and loved her.

She was a beautiful person with a kind and loving heart, and I feel honored to walk in her memory alongside the people who loved her most.

Every step of this walk is for JoAnn, to remember her, to celebrate the life she lived, and to support the American Heart Association in the hope that more families are given more time with the people they love.

We miss you, JoAnn. This walk is for you.
