This year I am celebrating 21 years of helping to generate more than $160,000 for the American Heart Association and each of you making it possible. Thank you for your support and generosity. Today, I continue my goal to raise $10,000 annually through their Executives with Heart challenge.

As you know, I do this each year because my nephew PJ, a star athlete full of energy, underwent open heart surgery (quadruple bypass) at the age of 14. You never know when something like this might happen to you or a loved one! PJ went on to play college baseball, and is doing great!

However, today I reach out to you for an additional reason. After experiencing and being diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation, I required an ablation procedure this past January. Following my recovery, I am back to working out and feeling like myself again. PJ’s recovery and my own were made possible in large part thanks to individuals like you, who generously donate to support research funded by the Heart Association.
