My story! In September of 2024, I had a routine Holter monitor placed to check for some minor PVC abnormalities. Within 48 hours, I was called and told to go immediately to the ER, where I was directly admitted to Cardiac ICU for a Third-Degree Complete Atrioventricular Block. To say I was scared is an understatement, it all happened so fast! They strapped an AED to my chest while I waited to have a pacemaker placed at 48 years old. My symptoms were silent and could have been deadly. I know that I was one of the lucky ones, and am forever grateful, with every beat of my heart!

Two years later, I am excited to participate in the Heart Walk, as a SURVIVOR!
