Executives with Heart: A Movement Where Leadership Meets Lifesaving

Executives with Heart unites top local leaders around one goal: ensuring one person in every household is ready to save a life with CPR. While 61% of people are unsure of what to do in a cardiac emergency, these leaders are working to change that. They’re leading by example through donating, rallying their networks to do the same, and spreading lifesaving CPR education, all leading up to a celebration at the Heart Walk.

Welcome to Susana Penaranda's Personal Page

Heart health is personal to me. Through my work with the City of Miami Department of Human Services, I help lead our EKG Initiative, providing free heart screenings to children and young adults in our community. In 2024, that same initiative helped uncover a heart condition in my son, Jamie. Today, he is a thriving heart warrior. I walk to raise awareness, support lifesaving research, and remind others that early detection can truly change a life.
