Jamie is a heart warrior whose journey began with an EKG through the City of Miami Department of Human Services’ EKG Initiative. In 2024, a free screening helped identify a heart condition that led to treatment at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida. Today, Jamie is thriving and proudly serves as an American Heart Association National Youth Health Ambassador for 2026–2027. He walks to raise awareness, support lifesaving heart research, and inspire others to know that early detection can change a life.
