In 2024, diagnosed with a rare genetic and inherited heart disease, ARVC (a cause of sudden cardiac death). I am very fortunate to be alive and can now live a normal life with some limitations. With my very own internal defibrillator (ICD/Pacemaker).  If it wasn't for my years as a long-distance athlete.  It was both a blessing for a strong heart and body and a detriment because it significantly accelerated the disease at 63 years young.
