As the Executive Director of the American Heart Association Southwest Florida, I have the privilege of meeting incredible volunteers, survivors, and families every day who remind me why this mission matters. Heart disease has also touched my own family, so this fight is deeply personal.

I walk to honor those we have lost, to celebrate those who have survived, and help build a healthier future for my own family. As a wife to an incredible husband and mom to two amazing kids, I want to be here for every milestone, every adventure, and every moment in-between. That's why I make movement and heart health a priority in my own life. I also know firsthand the importance of being prepared to act in a cardiac emergency, because knowing CPR and how to respond could literally be the difference between life and death.

For me, leading with heart means living the mission, not just advocating for it.
