In July 2022, my mom who is also better known as Finn's Nana, suffered a small stroke. Through early detection and quick response, she was left with minor issues. However, just 50 years ago, her mother also experienced a stroke that left her paralized on her entire left side for the rest of her life. Wow, how far we have come in 50 years.
Our family walks every year because there is still so much work left to do when it comes to heart disease and stroke, but this year the walk is extra special because we walk to celerbate Nana's life and survivorship!
