I am serving as the Team Coach for the Great Lakes Group for the Birmingham Heart Walk for Motion's American Heart Association campaign in 2023. We all must take more control of our health while we can. As a coach, raising funds and awareness, and recruiting walkers, in honor of my co-workers that are inspirational survivors, like Hal Midkiff (Senior Product Sales Manager), that you see in the video on this page.
Motion, as well as our parent company, GPC, has a strong culture of “Giving Back”, and I want to be one of the many champions that keeps that a consistent point of focus within our organization. We want to work with others that share this value of being good corporate citizens in our respective communities. You never know when someone very close to you will be the next benefactor of the cause that you support.
Motion Industries has reached their goal 8 out of the last 10 years as the Top Fundraiser In Birmingham. We are now taking the Campaign National to make a greater impact. That is a testament to the type of people with whom I work, and representative of the values of our organization. We want to bring home the trophy again this year, not for our accolades, but to be invested in the betterment of our community and literally save lives!
