In October 2019, an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) took our Mosey way too soon. AAAs occur less frequently in females but have a higher fatality rate as there is limited research, guidance, and insurance coverage for screening and early detection in this population. Women are the backbone of society and Mosey was the foundation for so many of us in the community she created.
