This month was a big one for me! I celebrated the 10 year anniversary of my first open heart surgery AND being 6 months post-op from my second open heart surgery. Nothing brings me more joy than knowing there are no more surgeries in my future. Each day I'm reminded of how fortunate I am to have made it this far despite some of the obstacles I've faced along the way. It's thanks to the work of the American Heart Association and the valuable research and science that they fund that I'm still here to tell my story.
Ten years ago, someone raised the funds that would help save my life. I fundraise now with the hope that I can impact someone else's life in ten years. Will you join me today in the fight against cardiovascular disease, the number 1 killer of all Americans? I know that times are tough right now, but every dollar counts and makes a difference in the life of someone like me living with CHD. Thank you in advance for your support!
