Let's celebrate Mother's Day with 31 Miles for Mom!
I am celebrating Mother's Day all May long with the American Heart Association! It's the perfect time to honor all the Moms in our lives and take steps to lower our own risk for cardiovascular disease.
Exercise is a great way to help prevent heart disease and stroke - it can help lower blood pressure, improve circulation, and boost levels of good cholesterol. For the month of May, I am pledging to walk, run or bike a mile a day, May 1-31. Let's lace up our shoes and celebrate the great moms everywhere!

Between groundbreaking research, CPR awareness and training, and helping identify and address local health risks, the AHA is leading the way to help our families, friends and neighbors live healthier lives.
