Why am I so passionate about this!?
1. Like so many, my family has experienced the impact that suffering from cardiovascular disease can have!
2. The impacts that the AHA has on our communities is tremendous. Last year along the Greater Atlanta AHA donated over $2.4M to local small businesses and volunteer organizations to fight food insecurities in our area.
3. I have seen first hand over the past 24 years of my career the unbelievable impact the AHA has on individuals with CV disease whether it is through education, research, quality improvement, etc.
