It's been almost 5 years since Scott/dad died suddenly from undetected heart disease on November 13, 2017. He had been suffering from severe heart blockage (90%), and he had no symptoms until the day of his death when he abruptly passed out in the parking lot after a workout class. Two ER nurses happened to be a few steps behind him and although their efforts were expeditious, the Cardiomyopathy he suffered left him without a chance of survival.
We want to honor him by raising money that will educate the public on how to detect this "silent killer" that is the #1 cause of death in the U.S.
