This year, I’m participating in the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk—and I’m doing it with deep gratitude and purpose.
A few years ago, my dad suffered a heart attack. It was terrifying. But thanks to swift medical care, ongoing research, and education efforts supported by organizations like the AHA, he survived. Today, he’s still with us—laughing, loving, and living life. And I don’t take that for granted.
Heart disease doesn’t discriminate. It touches families everywhere. No one is immune—and that’s why I’m walking. To honor my dad. To support life-saving research. And to help ensure that families get to spend more time with loved ones.
If you’re able, I’d be so grateful for your support. Every donation helps fund critical research, education, and advocacy that saves lives. Let’s walk toward a future with healthier hearts and more second chances.
