I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
Our son, Brayden, was born with HLHS which is a rare heart defect that caused the left side of his heart to be underdeveloped. After surviving for 93 days with 1/2 heart, he received the gift of life which was a heart transplant.
Brayden will be 8 this year and is a fantastic, smart, witty, fun little boy. He is the joy of our life!
