I will be walking with the team Adam's Angels. Adam was married to one of our transplant staff, Jillian Yanckowitz, and he was also an employee at the Cleveland Clinic. Adam unexpectedly passed away after having a massive heart attack at age 49, leaving behind his wife Jillian and their two sons, Nicholas and Matthew. Adam knew many of our transplant staff, and he was cared for by the transplant team immediately following his heart attack up until his passing. We hoped he could possibly get a heart transplant but he was just too sick and that did not occur.
