Why I Walk!
Hi Family and Friends,
The fight against heart disease and stroke is important to me, which is why I'm walking in the American Heart Association's Heart Walk on April 13.
On a very personal level, my precious Mother suffered a heart attack 2 years ago but thanks to amazing care is back at the bridge table! My wonderful boss, suffered a heart attack years ago and after open heart surgery is at work rocking and rolling! A dear, dear long time friend underwent triple bypass surgery and the replacement of one valve last spring, she is on the mend and loving on those grandbabies :)……I walk for these family and friends very near and dear to me and for those I will never know.
With your donation, we will fight for a future where a parent does not have to hear that their child has a heart defect. A future where an adult does not have to face the uncertain times ahead after receiving a diagnosis of heart disease or suffering from a stroke. A future where you and I will know that we had a part in making this possible.
Please support my efforts to fight the nation's No. 1 and No. 5 killers - heart disease and stroke. Your generosity means the world to me and those we all know and love affected by heart disease!
