On January 15, 2022 my dad was released from the hospital, after a short stay. He was cleared to continue business as usual + live his life. A few hours after he arrived at home he suffered a heart attack, passed away in my mom's arms and met Jesus.
Although, I truly believe in God’s grace + timing in my dads life, I also believe that with more research + testing that heart attacks can be preventable.
I walk in hope that more research + measures can be taken so the pain of losing a parent at a young age isn’t normalized. I walk to honor my dads life + the healthy heart I have ❤
