As most of you know, when Liam was an infant and in the hospital, one of the complications he experienced was fluid on his heart. It's the scariest thing in the world to have someone say "It's his heart" about your child. Fortunately, Liam was a fighter and is doing amazing these days! But there are so many parents that are not as fortunate as me. Additionally, this is the first generation of children not expected to live as long as their parents. We need to reverse this trend. My participation in Heart Walk promotes fun ways to be physically active and make healthier choices every day.
