We lost my dad last year to heart related issues. He was far too young at 69 and I miss him every single day. But, he also had a heart attack in 2004 and I’m so thankful for the extra years we had him with us after that first event.
I’m walking in Heart Walk this year to help support the scientists, cardiologists, internists, emergency medicine providers and nurses who take care of people like my dad every day. The work they do gave us almost 20 extra years with him. He knew his grand children and they know him
