This walk is important to the health of our communities, but it is also personal for me.
At 19, my son, Sidney was suddenly stricken with the worst headache of his life while in
college. After an evaluation by our PCP, Dr. Robert Polofsky, he was rushed to the
hospital where he was diagnosed with a ruptured arterial venous malformation, resulting
in a hemorrhagic stroke. Sidney spent nearly a month in the hospital, followed by 3
courses of radiation. He did beautifully, thanks to the efforts of Dr. Sal Insinga, a
neurosurgeon, and Dr. Ari Setton a neuroradiologist.
Please walk with us this year, or donate to the cause!
Thank you,
Felice
