Heartbreaking statistics reveal over 350,000 people experience out-of-hospital cardiac arrest each year, and shockingly, 9 out of 10 people do not make it. These are not just numbers, they're lives, stories and futures cut short. .As someone who has personally felt the devestating impact of losing a close family member to cardiac arrest, this cause hits home for me.
Less than half of these victims receive bystander CPR, a critical intervention that can be the difference in life and death. That's why I am partnering with the American Heart Association to help support them in their efforts of raising awareness, providing CPR readiness training, and ultimately increasing the survival of those facing cardiac arrest.
Your contribution no matter how small, can help us save lives. Every dollar gets us one step closer to a world where bystanders are empowered to act, where tragedies can be averted and where more families can be spared the pain of losing a loved one.
