Emergency open heart surgery survivor!
Braden has a mechanical valve after endocarditis attacked his heart. He had been in the hospital just 4 days fighting bacterial meningitis when our brilliant doctor discovered the grade 3 murmur. The team at Nationwide Children's Hospital rushed and in a short couple hours Braden was in the OR.
We want to raise awareness! Listen to your body, take care of yourself, know the signs of stroke, heart attack and be an advocate for your health. We want to make sure others are aware of what infections can do, and hope to help save lives.
