Walking for my dad at the annual Heart Walk has become a tradition for our family, marking a journey that began 15 years ago after he survived a heart attack and underwent triple bypass surgery. Doctors did an amazing job and had initially given him about a decade, but he defied those expectations and is now healthier than ever. That frightening experience brought us closer as a family, and we feel incredibly blessed to see him thriving today. He is my biggest role model, and I walk to honor his strength and the second chance he was given.
