Going the Amy Mile
Amy Leigh Redeyoff was taking away from us far too soon due to a heart condition known as Myocarditis. Myocarditis is inflammation and damage of the heart muscle often caused by a viral infection. Often times, it can be extremely difficult to pin-point the exact source of the infection and unfortunately, myocarditis can happen to young, healthy individuals. Please join us by either donating and/or joining our team to walk in support of The American Heart Association. Therefore, raising money and awareness to continue funding research and clinical trials against heart related diseases.
Amy Leigh Redeyoff was a beautiful soul called home to the lord sooner than we could ever imagine. She was more than just a friend to many; Amy was family. She was the glue that kept so many different circles of friendships and family together. Among her friends, Amy was known as the ‘hostess with the mostess’ with her love for cooking and entertaining. She was the person who you wanted to call first with exciting news or when in need of a shoulder to lean on. Without a doubt, she always left everyone laughing and you could always tell what she was thinking without her even saying a word. But for someone with so many close friends, she always made time for her family. Amy's husband, Dave, and yellow lab, Lola, were the light of her life. The love between Amy and Dave was undeniable and the most beautiful love one has witnessed; true soulmates. She found so much happiness through Lola and enjoyed taking her to the beach in the early mornings. Although living in South Carolina, Amy would sneak up to North Carolina as often as she could to be with family to celebrate any and every event. Amy's family was growing and she never wanted to miss a moment. It was in Amy's heart to always go that extra mile. Whether it was picking up the phone to call that friend she hadn't seen in awhile, or making a casserole for someone in a time of need, or to host friends and family for the best food, wine and laughs! She was always going that extra mile and now, I encourage you to do so too; help us go that Amy mile!
