Why We Walk
2020 Birmingham Heart Walk ** VIRTUAL EVENT **
Mark Thompson - Corp Account Team
Every day I'm getting closer to reaching my fundraising goal of $5,000 for the 2020 Birmingham Heart Walk which takes place in Early June 2020. As many of you know my family has a history of heart disease and many in my family have suffered and died with heart Disease, so I have a personal connection to the effort to raise awareness about healthy living, exercise, proper diet and a great appreciation for the research that the American Heart Association and the Birmingham Heart Walk fund every year.
This fund raising has resulted in tremendous improvements and some amazing heart care that is savings lives, extending lives, and providing a better quality of lives for so many families. As I talk to people, few have not experienced some loss of family or a close friend due to heart disease. If you are able, I ask that you make a small contribution to My team – Mark Thompson’s Corporate Acct Team (Motion Industries). Although the Birmingham Heart Walk is not until June, I wanted to reach out to your early and ask for your support. Thank you to so many of you that have supported this effort for the past nine years! Due to your support , each of the last 8 years Motion Industries Birmingham has been the largest city wide fund raiser for the Birmingham Heart Walk with contributions total more than $100,000. each year.
