We walk as a family in the name of heart health.  Cardiovascular diseases are the number 1 killer of people both globally and here in the US. As if this isn’t reason enough to support awareness and find cures, heart health hit home for us in 2016 when our Captain was diagnosed with IST (Inappropriate sinus tachycardia) and again in 2021 when she was diagnosed with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). Ashley has to fight every day just to try to have a normal life that we all take for granted. We are walking to raise awareness for her and other’s illnesses in hopes that we can find cures and treatments for all affected by cardiac diseases. We pray that God will work through these blessings and this organization to heal those who are sick and weary. We walk for the cure!
