We’re walking for our health and yours. For our parents, our children and our grandchildren. Who will you walk for?
Heart disease is the No. 1 killer worldwide and stroke ranks second globally. Please join our team or donate today and help us change this statistic.
I am a SURVIVOR because of the dollars raised by so many of you and in 1976, I had open heart surgery in New Orleans to repair a VSD and an ASD I would not have lived with out the blessings bestowed by God on two remarkable doctors, Dr. Terry King and Dr. Noelle Mills Together, they developed the Kings-Mill Cardiac Umbrella. The initial patient to undergo device closure with the King-Mills umbrella was a 17-year-old girl. Her ASD was closed using a 35-mm King-Mills umbrella without difficulty on April 8, 1975, at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana.Unfortunately, I wasn't a candidate for this procedure. However, because of the support and funds raised by the AHA through events like this, we have been given a chance to survive. I am asking for your support. Walk with me and help me raise more funds for children and all people who are where I have been ❤
Be a Heart Walk Hero with us and together we’ll help save lives. I thank you in advance.
