Nothing unites us like doing good together!

Growing up, Brett was personally affected by heart disease due to his father, Bill McDonald, passing away when he was 10 years old. Bill was an avid athlete (linebacker at Vanderbilt University) and in great health, so a heart attack at the age of 50 came as a huge surprise. This obviously had a huge impact on Brett's life growing up and allowed him to realize just how important heart health really is. Now as an adult, Brett is in a position to spread the word on the importance of a healthy lifestyle and let others know how they can be making heart-healthy decisions.

Brett would love for anyone interested to take part in the 2023 Lowcountry Heart Walk alongside him and others who have been affected by this horrible and misunderstood disease. 

We all have a connection, a person, a why to get out there and make a difference when it comes to the #1 and #5 causes of death: heart disease and stroke. So, let's be bold, confident, and life-changing, and let's step out together and save some lives. Oh, and let's also have some fun along the way!
