May 20th will mark two years since I underwent quadruple bypass surgery. What a journey it has been. Reflecting on the last couple of years, I am beyond humbled by your support.

I have become very passionate about heart disease awareness and joined the American Heart Association (AHA) board of directors. I invite you to help me in this endeavor. On April 23rd, the AHA will have its annual Upstate Heart Walk in downtown Greenville. Heart Walk is THE signature community event for the American Heart Association. It brings the community together, celebrates health, and honors survivors. Through this experience, we encourage people to move, have fun, and raise funds that help save lives. You and I both know that heart disease can impact anyone!

Let's not just talk about making a difference. Let's do something. Let's walk together. I hope to see you on April 23rd.
