We are walking because we can.  When our son Jake was 4 months old, he was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy and given 10 days to live.  We went to Hospice and expected the worst.  But, Jake's story is a happy one.  We left Hospice out the front door - with Jake.  He was eligible to take part in a clinical study that ultimately saved his life.  After several surgeries including a biventricular pacemaker, Jake has lived a full, vibrant life.  He is still considered in heart failure, but he is asymptomatic and nothing slows him down.  We are blessed and beyond grateful ... the fundraising is how we show our appreciation!  So, if you are able, please donate so we can put an end to heart disease forever!  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!  Amy, Todd, Jake and Tyler
