We walk -- well run, dance, skip -- because of our #HeartWarrior Everett, who is now 7 years old!

At 11 days old, our critically ill son was airlifted to New Orleans to repair a congenital heart defect that had been detected only hours earlier. He fought hard to become another survivor, thanks to so many healing hands and praying hearts. 

We now have at least four other survivors among our family circle, including cousins, Everett's Uncle Phil, and an honorary uncle whom he calls Choo Choo. And this month Everett was so happy to learn and celebrate three BRCVPA classmates who also are survivors.
