The 100 Black Men of Coastal North Carolina is a local chapter of the 100 Black Men of America, the largest black male youth mentorship network in the world, with over 110 chapters.   the mission of the 100 weaves health and wellness into its core, aiming to improve the lives of our communities. We support the American Heart Association and the Cape Fear Heart Walk as an annual service project with other community organizations.

 

9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this. ?

Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death. ?
