The American Heart Association has been an incredible partner in engaging with communities to advance health over the last year!
We have collaborated on Black Impact (advanced cardiovascular health in Black men), Uplift Her (screened over 500 women for cardiovascular disease and cancer) and community efforts including the African American Male Wellness Walk, Faith Mission, Heart of Ohio many more!
We have also been working together to advance health equity. The AHA National Chief Medical Officer Dr. Eduardo Sanchez joined us in August for the Health Equity Through Diversity 3-day conference! We are also partnering on Food for Thought: Navigating and Collaborating to Advance Healthy Weight Management in Our Community, where we are working together to form a comprehensive and cohesive strategy to improve the health of our Central Ohio community. The Food for thought collaborative is aligned with the American Heart Associations focus on Nutrition Security (Food Insecurity, Diet Quality, Health Equity).
Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that literally keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives.
Have a heart and help me reach my goal today!
