What is my why?
There are so many reasons to walk on August 24.
I walk so I can have more precious moments with my husband and two children. I walk for the 1 in 3 women who die from heart disease and stroke, and miss those memories with their loved ones. I walk to be healthy and active, because I know 80% of these instances are preventable. I walk because I am part of one of the BEST teams in the country and I know our work is not done.
